This is a depressing drama, full of people who only think of themselves, neglect their children and put money above everything. This would not be so bad if there was some light to balance the shade. The character of Rose almost manages it now and then, but her storyline is just silly. Some of the acting is very poor. The person playing Ruth is hopeless! Rose's boyfriend isn't great, either. And Nicola Walker is always just Nicola Walker. There's nobody to root for, nobody even to approve of. And hardly any of them came over as authentic. Not recommended at all.
