I thoroughly enjoyed this solid, well acted and very creepy tale of John 'Reginald Christie. It showed London at it's squalid worst just after World War 2, at least the part where the Christie's lived. London is another grim character in a grim tale. Tim Roth as Christie gaslit his poor wife, who showed only brief flashes of spirit. Well worth seeing.
