Cat Stevens (2010)

Biography of the singer-songwriter, Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam. The documentary tries to untangle the real story of Cat Stevens from amidst the controversy which surrounds his name. Though his secular songs are widely loved, a near fatal bout of tuberculosis spurred Stevens to question his beliefs, and led to the musician becoming more famous for his political and religious views than his work. With interviews from various pundits, this programme aims to get to the bottom of an often misunderstood performer.
