David Essex: Live at the Royal Albert Hall (2005)

David Essex has had a long and extraordinarily successful career as a songwriter, a singer and an actor on stage, on television and in films. He had a string of hit singles through the seventies and eighties and continues to perform concert tours and acting roles to both critical acclaim and commercial success. This show was filmed at London s famous Royal Albert Hall in 1984 during the tour in support of his two albums The Whisper and Mutiny which had both been released in autumn 1983. The show features songs from both those albums alongside many of his seventies hits. This is David Essex live and at his very best.
