Destination Portugal (2004)

Located in Southern Europe with its West face surrounded by the Atlantic ocean, Portugal is known for its sunny climate and superb beach resorts. Visitors are also attracted to the vineyards, stunning inland landscapes and it's thriving capital Lisbon. Traveller Megan McCormick starts her journey in the beautiful Doruro Valley before heading north to trek through the spectacular Peneda Geres National Park. Moving South through Fatima and Santarem she stops in Lisbon before ending her journey in the idyllic Azores.
