Pair of documentaries by Tony Palmer about two of the greatest English composers of the 20th century. 'Vaughan Williams: O Thou Transcendent!' features performances of the composer's music conducted by Adrian Boult and John Barbirolli as well as rare interviews and archive footage. 'Malcolm Arnold: Toward the Unknown Country' celebrates the work of one of the most prolific film composers in history, with more than 130 film scores to his name including 'Whistle Down the Wind' and 'Bridge Over the River Kwai'.
