Comedian and former TV personality Pamela Stephenson traces her ancestry and finds patch-eyed, skull-and-crossbones action. When the blonde Kiwi bombshell was asked to trace her roots for a BBC documentary, she could have scarcely predicted what would turn up. One of her ancestors 'Salty Sam' Stephenson was a high seas captain who came a cropper either at the hands of pirates or as a result of the mutiny of his own crew. Stephenson traces the roots of his 1821 journey from Cairns, Australia for the Spice Islands during which his ship, the Rosalie was mysteriously lost with all hands.
