The Afrika Korps (2000)

A documentary focusing on the Afrika Korps which continually thwarted the Allied forces in the east during the Second World War. Commanded by the legendary 'Desert Fox',Germany's Field Marshal Erwin Rommel,the Korps forced its enemies into a war of attrition,and was only finally defeated at the Mareth Line in Tunisia in March 1943. Archive footage from both sides is combined here with the analysis of leading war historians.
