Synopsis:
In the world of sports, there is a point in every young athletes career when they will be tested both physically and mentally to see if they are among the elite to make it into the professional arena. In surfing, the battleground lies on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, where surfers from all over the world come to claim supremacy in the sport of surfing. Every winter on the seven mile stretch on North Shore Oahu, the best surfers in the world come to charge the infamous Bonzai Pipeline. It is on the deadliest wave in the world, where they are met by media frenzy as they fight for the spotlight while hundreds of cameras flash from ashore.
Due to the massive media hype, The Bonzai Pipeline has attracted the most ambitious young surfers from all over the world. They have come to prove their worthiness among the world's best and to gain massive media recognition. Bonsai Pipeline is the one wave on the planet that can spring a young surfer's career into superstardom which is why it is commonly referred to as The Ultimate Proving Grounds.
