This movie was bad. The exposition is dumb. The characters have bad dialogue. There's plot points shoe horned in to connect it the first film that aren't needed. The pacing and motivation of characters is shallow. This movie feels like a cash grab off the originals brand. Really surprised Ridley made this. You can see where he's tried to make a grand epic. But, he's botched it. The film feels like they rushed it and didn't put enough thought into everything. Very disappointing movie. Surprising considering how long it is too! Wouldn't have been a problem if the film was good. By the end your glad it's over. 2 stars for the moments of redeem but overall a poo film.
