I have not watched the Broadway show but the main casts are mostly OBC. The songs and the production are great!

Although some people said there are some great songs cut in the film. But it is still a great film. Forget about the Broadway version and you will love it.

It is excellent and Shirley MacLaine act so well in this film. The major thing I didn't like is too many close shot that you cannot see the group dance.
