Watched disc 1. I don't have a problem with grim, long-drawn out monochrome films per se, so decided to give disc 2 a chance as moderately intrigued to see how it all plays out. Watched disc 2, or rather half of disc 2. Mid-way through encountered a scene of animal abuse perpetrated by a child (child thereby also abused), clearly involving real suffering to the animal concerned. Sick to my stomach I pressed eject, put disc back in envelope and had a shower. Disc 3 cancelled. What kind of person thinks it's ok to cause suffering to living creatures in the name of their so-called art? An arrogant t****r, that's who.
