Wish I'd read some of these reviews first ! Aware of the many accolades received by La La Land, settled down to watch with excited anticipation. What a disappointment. Was bored after 30 mins and waiting for it to kick in. It didn't. Boy meets girl with added ( neither accomplished or memorable) singing and dancing. I think someone else mentioned the overall look was very good,colours etc. However I really can't understand how it achieved such high praise. Basically for me it was just boring.
