Eye of the Needle
Donald Sutherland at his Best, good film!
I saw this film about 20 years on TV (standard definition 720x576) the transfer onto Blu-ray gives a nice picture and although grainy at times it's still a good watch.
The Blu-ray rented out by Cinema Paradiso has been sourced from an American master by the looks of it because it has a different ending, the European disc is approx. 1.5 minutes longer.
On the European Blu-ray In the last scene, the helicopter arrives and lands, there is a conversation with the commander about the radio transmission being interrupted and finally the child arrives and reunites with his mother. This ending was cut from the American version Blu-ray.
Nevertheless still worth renting.
