Found this an odd film as it was about the Nazi occupation of Guernsey but there was not a single shot in this film that was filmed in Guernsey, consequently found it completely unbelievable, Guernsey and the Channel Islands had a bad war but that would not have been apparent from this movie; with the exception of the small scene of the forced labour, the rest of the time it seemed completely fine. Just never sure what it was meant to be - a love story - war film - charming "British" film? So for all the above a disappointing watch; there were some nice cameos from Penny Wilton & Tom Courtney but that doesn't make a film.
