If you've seen one of the three UK TV adaptations of the Woman in White you will be on familiar territory here as Sarah Waters seems to have lifted the central plot wholesale and without acknowledgement from the Wilkie Collins stirring in a soupcon of lesbianism to make it her own concoction.

It's not bad but both the BBC big budget versions in 1982 and 2018 were better in my opinion and managed to credit the original author (Which is a nice thing to do).
