Apart from the very moving story,this film captures perfectly the atmoshpere of occupied Prague and shows well the charcaters of audatious as well as treatecherous Czechs.

The selected music does not reflect the architecture or character of the places. For instance every Czech would select Smetana's Vltava accompanying the part Vltava. To show National Theatre and The State Opera Theatre and not the Estate Theatre ( where Don Giovanni was first performed) when mentioning Mozart is very peculiar. The selection of places showed does not reflect the typical parts of Prague
