Duel

Tedious duel

Idea was good but very slow to develop. And almost too minimalist. No doubt the finale was good but I couldn't sit through the whole film just to get to that.

Incredible. That it is a true story is a very powerful testament to courage, determination and ultimately, faith.

Catherine Cookson: The Round Tower

The round tower

(Edit) 13/05/2015

Quite different to most Catherine Cookson. In the mid 20th C for a start. Shows the different worlds, socially and morally of the late 50s and how books should not be judged by their cover. Worth a watch for Cookson fans.

Weird. Don't expect much from this film. An interesting and different method of portraying a life storey and his works, but very boring.

Saints and Soldiers

Saints and soldiers

Says is based on facts. If so, is a tribute to courage. Was the "Englishman" and American actor. Appalling accent.

Worth watching, though definitely not an all action hero movie.
