British Campaigns: Battle of Britain and the Blitz (1940)

Flushed with success from the Blitzkrieg, on 30th June 1940 Goering issued an operational order for the Luftwaffe's forthcoming attack on Britain. On 16th July, Hitler himself ordered preparations for Operation Sea Lion - The invasion of Britain. All that stood between Nazi Germany and victory was the English Channel - and the Royal Air Force.
