Pianist Chick Corea and vibraphonist Gary Burton are both numbered among the jazz greats of our day, both winning coveted Grammy awards in 1999. In 1972 they recorded the highly successful 'Crystal Silenc' album together the title track, composed by Corea has gone on to become a well-known jazz standard. This featured video records their first appearance as a duo for many years, which took place at the Philharmonie during the 1997 Munich Klaviersommer. The secret of the duos appeal is a clever blend of classical elegance and Latin rhythm.
