Synopsis:
Three short films from the Fifties and Sixties, offering a cultural and social history of life in Scotland at the time. 'Glasgow Belongs To Me' (1963) traces the growth of Scotland's largest city from its humble beginnings as a Clydeside hamlet. In 'Coasts of Clyde' (1959) Bernard Braden travels by train and steamer to rediscover his roots on the Firth of Clyde, whilst in 'The Land of Robert Burns' (1956) the people of South West Scotland go about their daily business, accompanied by a selection of the poet's most famous ballads.
