F4U Corsair (2001)

Video profile of the F4U Corsair, the combat aircraft originally deemed too dangerous to use in carrier-based operations by the United States Navy and consequently lent to the British Fleet Air Arm. The US eventually adopted the Corsair in 1944, and by the time it served in the Korean war it had come to be regarded as one of the finest combat aircraft in history.
