Rent Khamoshi (2003)

'Khamsohi' (silence) is the story of Annie, whose parents cannot speak or hear. As a child she learns music from her grandmother, but after a tragic incident in their house her father sells the family piano. One day Annie meets Raj, who inspires her and brings her music back into her life. Annies parents are unable to appreciate her desire to become a singer with Raj's help.
