Rent Marsden Rail 15: Hellifield (2003)

Thirty-six miles north of Leeds on the former Midland railway route to Carlisle, the junction station of Hellifield was a very busy location in the late 1950s and early 60s. Anglo-Scottish services, Heysham boat trains, local passenger services plus an endless procession of freights kept station and engine shed staff fully occupied! In addition to film at Hellifiled, scenes at Gargrave and Bell Busk stations are also viewed as we travel on a Jubilee-hauled service from Skipton to Hellifield in 1963
