Message of Sound

Message of Sound is an audio-visual experience with film and music by Danny Becher. The film is a registration of sound-resonance in water, made visible by the reflection of light. When water is set into resonance by music, the surface of the water shows different vibrational patterns. The pictures show sound-resonance in Tibetan bowls, so you can see the vibrating sound patterns of the bowl itself. This audio-visual experience has a double impact on our awareness, since we not only hear the sound but we can also see it. This impact on our senses creates a harmonising and balancing effect and deepens our understanding of the magic and the power of sound.
