My First Day at School (2003)

An educational film endorsed by the National Association for Primary Education, designed to reassure and prepare young children and their parents about the exciting - but also often quite daunting - experience of starting school. The film follows James as he prepares for his first day, shopping for a uniform, preparing a packed lunch and talking about his big day. On his arrival at school he meets his new teacher and fellow classmates, and soon gets stuck into all sorts of fun activites such as doing puzzles, colouring, working on the computer and playing in the play area.
