Synopsis:: Sakthivel (Kamal Haasan), son of a union leader, stabs a policeman who killed his father and runs away to Mumbai slum. When he grows up, he kills an inspector, Kelkar (Pradeep Shakti) who tortures the people. Thus he becomes the protector and Mumbai mafia don. He marries a prostitute, Neela (Saranya Ponvannan) and they get two children. In the end, he is arrested and acquitted but is shot dead by Ajit (Tinnu Anand), son of Kelkar.
