Three short documentaries looking at the history of flight. 'To Fly Like a Bird' examines the early attempts to launch a powered aircraft,some of which were more successful than others. 'Descent from the Skies' looks at the history of parachuting,invented for pilots in the First World War,developed as a sport,and then perfected as a means of launching shock attacks using highly-trained paratroopers during the Second World War. 'Barnstormers and Stuntmen' is a history of aerobatics,and the daredevil stuntmen who would risk life and limb to perform these amazing aerial feats.
