When a childhood friend suddenly dies Rebecka Martinsson (Ida Engvoll) returns home to the north of Kiruna. But not everything is what it seems...A young woman is found dead in a fishing cabin. The investigation of her death leads to the local mining companies with foreign money men. Meanwhile lawyer Rebecka Martinsson recovers from a mental breakdown and is offered job as a prosecutor. But her unconventional work methods are met with resistance from some colleagues...A young couple of divers are trapped and drowned under the ice by a mysterious figure. Rebecka and Wilma investigate and find out that the divers were examining the wreck of a Nazi plane... Rebecka is getting ready to move in with Måns, but she comes across a horrible crime scene after her neighbour sees something amiss in a nearby house. Unfortunately, she is prevented from investigating because of her pending departure...Rebecka's replacement gets somebody to confess to the murder, but Rebecka's own under-the-radar inquiries have come up with a different motive involving a family inheritance... - Actors:
