Song Without a Name (2019)

Melina León directs and co-writes this drama starring Pamela Mendoza as young indigenous woman Georgina, set in Peru in 1988. When she is due to give birth Georgina cannot afford to visit a hospital and instead goes to a free clinic. However, following the birth Georgina's baby girl is taken from her. Distraught and without the means to fight against this criminal activity Georgina manages to relay her story to journalist Pedro (Tommy Párraga), who helps her in her quest for justice. However, Pedro soon discovers that the corruption runs deep and seeking answers will put his life at risk.
