US Metal legends captured live and at their metal best. Few know that the term 'heavy metal' was actually lifted from Steppenwolf's song 'Born to Be Wild' and here, they prove that they're highly worthy of such a feat. Their best songs like the aforementioned anthem and 'The Pusher' are interspersed with lesser known numbers like 'I'm Movin' On' and 'Hey Lawdy Mama'. Vocalist John Kay - an escapee from East Germany - is in fine howlin' form and the band at its thunderous best.
