With commentary by the legendary Stuart Hall Owlerton Stadium, Sheffield is the backdrop for Battle of Britain XIII, Europe's fastest and hardest loose surface racing oval. The Battle of Britain tournament attracts the toughest drivers in teams of from across the UK, battling for the title Team Banger Racing Champions. The 'hard' men of the Steel City, Team Stinkbridge, take on challengers such as: Team Black from Norfolk, the Scrap Yard Screamers, the Gravediggers, the Mean Machines, the Demons from the Midlands and London's Bad News Warriors.
Unlimited Banger Racing has been described as a cross between the infamous Pamplona bull run and the gladiators of the ancient coliseum - but all on four wheels! Watch out for the thrills, the spills, the big hits, and the spectacular smashes as cars are wrecked on track - but it's all within the rules! The ultimate goal is to 'win' the race but only the bravest and best drivers proudly step onto the podium at the end of the day!
