Walking with My Mother (2014)

After the sudden death of her daughter and the loss of her husband, 78-year-old Suchie suffers from depression and panic attacks. Hoping to feel better in a more familiar environment, she moves away from Tokyo back to her hometown, which she hasn’t visited in 38 years. Filmed over the span of four years by director Sakaguchi Katsumi, Suchie’s son.
