Hounds of Love

True Horror

(Edit) 05/06/2018

It's been debated for a long time, what is a horror film?

For me personally, a thriller/drama like this one is a true horror film, in that it is so plausible, very real and could actually happen, should you like Vicki in the film, be unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Incredibly tense throughout, this is a great exercise in the true horror that real people, with something as easy to obtain as sleeping pills, a chain and a lock, can inflict on a fellow human being

The standard of acting and the plot twists lift this way above your usual captive/torture gore stuff

Well worth watching

In Order of Disappearance

My first ever review and that speaks volumes

(Edit) 12/07/2016

I've seen a lot of films through Cinema Paradiso and enjoyed the vast majority, but the fact I feel compelled to review it shows just how much this little gem impressed me. I won't be pointing out the pluses and minuses of the story, it's reality etc, all I would say is if you have found yourself hovering over the add to list option, go for it. you won't be disappointed - you will enjoy this film. It's an interesting story, the characters are hugely appealing and so different to the norm - you won't find a more diverse set of villains than on display in this film. A true black comedy - i urge you to give it a try
