This is a very well made film and some of the shots will stay with you forever. It does however leave you with a very empty feeling as it offers no hope and the story is so sad and brutal. Mexicans will hate the film as it gives such a depressing view of one part of their beautiful country. I guess films have to reflect reality but you are left wondering what the film achieves. Nevertheless a very well made film.

Briliant - thank you! A film with very few wasted words and lots of complicated relationships. But it leaves you thinking and yo know you have seen a film.
