I am going to admit that I didn't get past the first 20 minutes of this film so I may not have the right to post a review. I'm no shrinking violet, no naive newcomer to the kind of film making Gaspar Noe produces but I just wasn't prepared to suffer any more of the queasy camera angles, tortuous soundtrack and desperately cliched homosexual tropes in the hope of finding a more rewarding narrative. Backwards film, try "Memento", shocking rape scene, try "A clockwork orange" ? Nothing new in this film. An arrogance on display here, I shouldn't have to work that hard to connect to a film should I ?

Unpleasant, misogynistic rubbish. No drama, certainly no thrills in this pointless, ill conceived waste of time, energy and money. Only four characters, all with varying degrees of unattractiveness. If only someone connected with the whole sorry affair had stood up and called it out for what it is. Dire.
