This is a film I wasn't looking forward to but 15 minutes in I was totally hooked it's a slow burner but not in a boring way throughout the film it has a slow sense of dread leading to the climax....... And surprisingly for this age of film no bad language

I first saw this film when I was about 13 on TV.... And I was memorised by it.... I've seen it many times since.... The remake is terrible and trys to make a comedy out of it I would advise to stay clear... This film to me is enthralling a slow burn throughout and a sense of dread that something is not quite right in stepford... Watching it recently I was surprised that it doesn't look that dated especially as it was made in 1975.....when Katherine ross goes to a doctor and says "she doesn't want to end up like some robot in disneyland"..... You realise that at the end of the film which to me is terrifying and still gives me goosebumps......

I looked this up on imdb and the reviews were terrible but I thought I'd give it a shot as I like nicole kidman...... Absolutely terrible film I saw it to the end just to see if it had a explanation for nearly two hours watching..... No it doesn't no redeeming features at all
