This cartoon series from Cosgrove Hall Productions features the voices of Richard Briers as Alias, Brian Wilde as Meredith The Magician and Brian Trueman as King Arthur, in a series which follows the crazy adventures of a little spaceman whose time machine has gone wrong and landed him in medieval England. But this is Cosgrove Hall's medieval England, in the kingdom of Houghton Bottoms where King Arthur's queen is not Guinevere but Edith; where the local giants get invited to afternoon tea; where knights are bold, only in cricket matches and where the dancing bear is a starstruck hoofer with a straw hat and cane. Alias and his tele-communicating dog Boswell, use their knowledge of the future, their amazing abilities and the incompetent spells of the friendly wizard Meredith to outwit all the crazy perils that threaten Houghton Bottoms, but only after Alias has been persuaded to adopt the disguise of court jester to the irascible and unpredictable King Arthur. - Actors:
