- Synopsis:
- Sir Edgar Fraser (Alec Guinness), a widowed Scottish baronet, decides that it's about time his 20-year-old son (Vernon Gray) became acquainted with the opposite sex. Not one to do things by halves, he determines that this must be done in Paris, the most romantic city in the world. So off they go, with Sir Edgar determined to find a beautiful, spirited girl (Odile Versois) for his son. This he certainly does - but complications soon arise when he finds that he's falling for her himself!
