“I’d quit this piano tuning. Ain’t no future in it.” - Anchors Aweigh review by LJ

Spoiler Alert

Two sailors go on leave and fall for the same woman. The plot of this musical comedy is trite and not enough to cover the long run time. The songs are forgettable. However there are also stunning moments like the Hollywood Bowl pianos scene or Gene Kelly hurling himself through the air. Frank Sinatra brings some much needed charm to the tale.
