In the town of Deadwood, South Dakota, Wild Bill (Jeff Bridges) must face his most lethal enemy. A mysterious stranger (David Arquette) has arrived announcing that he will not leave until Hickok is dead. Wild Bill finds comfort in the arms of sexy Calamity Jane (Ellen Barkin), but he is haunted by the memory of one woman he truly loved - a longing that could ultimately bring about his downfall.
Cheesy, historically inaccurate and dull.

There have been many films made about Wild Bill Hickok but this has to rate as one of the worst. Hickok's story is given the Hollywood treatment which completely rewrites many historical elements of his life and Ellen Barkin's sexy interpretation of Calamity Jane was just laughable. If you want to see a decent portrayal of the final days of Wild Bill then rent the HBO series Deadwood, but avoid this stinker at all costs.
