Better Call Saul: Series 1

Fitting follow up

(Edit) 13/11/2015

Firstly Cinema Paradiso ought to fire their proofreader. I Quote-

Synopsis:

Before Saul Goodmao met Waller White, he was struggling attoroey Jimmy McGill (Bob Odookirk). In this prequel to the Emmy winning series Breaking Bad Jimmy teams up with 'fixer" Mike Ehrmaotraut (Jonathan Banks) and begins his transformation from optimistic underdog do Albuquerque's most Rotoriaus legal legend. Michael McKean stars as Jimmy's brilliant, uncompromising brother, Chuck

Anyway after enjoying Breaking Bad I watched this with some trepidation. It's not as good but it does have a lot to live up to.

Like BB it starts humourously and gets darker

I recommend, but watch BB first

Odyssey: Series 1

ultimately disappointing

(Edit) 13/11/2015

While I'm reviewing things I'll comment on this--

Watched this on TV and it promised a lot but never really delivered.

I'm afraid it kept making plot twists which were unbelievable or at least unlikely and (plot spoiler!)

predictably there's a second series (or at least it's set up for one)

Rent Better Call Saul instead

The Blacklist: Series 1

Worth watching (doesn't sound effusive but I would give 5 stars to very few things)

(Edit) 17/02/2015

Always worry about Americans series in case they don't carry on for more than the first series.

Tried this because there is a second series on Sky at the moment.

after we suspended a little bit of disbelief we got into this and compared it as a "better" version of Alias

Difficult to Review in case we give spoilers, theres one fairly obvious twist but don't let that get in the way

Aside: I would give 5 stars to Breaking Bad. If you've not started this get on it now
