Slow travesty of history

I have no idea why the film makers decided to ignore libraries of historical evidence and instead to make up this fallacious plot.
Sadly, the repeated use of slo-mo and ‘something important happening here’ music can’t rescue the ponderous script.
There are better films about Churchill...
