Terminator: Dark Fate

Watchable if you like the series.

(Edit) 24/05/2020

Watched Dark Fate to satisfy my curiosity, I almost didn't bother, but I'm glad I did. Found myself enjoying quite a lot of it, the new score and the action were all good, was great to see Hamilton and Arnie on screen together again, some of the dialogue made me cringe in places and the attempts at humour fell flat though. I was surprised to see some moments that had a bit of emotional impact for me.

Was a shame they couldn't have done something a bit different with the story other than stick to the same template, it certainly felt like more of Terminator film compared to Genisys, that made me feel angry after leaving the cinema.

Ready or Not

Read or Not for some black humour?

(Edit) 16/02/2020

I thought this film was absolutely brilliant. The humour and message so well done. Loved the look and sound of it as well, the only other black comedy I could compare it to is Tucker and Dale Vs Evil for how much I enjoyed both of them.

The Sisters Brothers

Not what I was expecting, but still liked it.

(Edit) 29/09/2019

I was expecting a comedy, it says comedy on the IMDb description and the trailer implies that too. What a crap way to market a good Western. Really enjoyed the characters and cast in this; John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix and Jake Gyllanhaal.
