I loved this film.  The acting was tremendous, and I can’t understand why Simon Russell Beale didn’t get a higher billing.  How amazing to create such a gripping drama set in one shop over one night!  It is intelligent and exciting.

This is an intense and thought provoking movie.  The plot to poison the water supply of a German city was credible.  I didn’t much like the double ending, but I could see the point.  It is worth an evening’s viewing. 

Sorry, but this wasn’t up our street, and we turned it off!  It just didn’t grab us and seemed to similar to a cartoon .

I’m afraid we thought this film was rubbish.  We made allowance for its age, but it didn’t take the situation in the POW camp seriously enough in our view.  Tho we didn’t watch much of it I have to admit.  Can’t think why I put It on our list.
