Bad Santa

Very funny if you can stomach crude humour

(Edit) 12/01/2014

I've seen this a couple of times and each time thoroughly enjoyed Billy Bob Thornton's performance, and actually the rest of the cast too. No wonder there's talk of a sequel.

It's crude, outrageous adult humour, and yet somehow serves to carry a Christmas feel-good message - and as an alternative to the usual PG mush.

House of Cards

Compulsive watching

(Edit) 12/01/2014

Compulsive watching, Ian Richardson (Francis Urquhart) is brilliant and really makes the series.

Some aspects of the story could be a little 'tall' at times, but troublingly similar to things you may have seen, suspected or experienced in life. Or done?! FU is a total ****!

You'll find yourself whizzing through all three double-sided disks in no time, and muttering some of FU's choice lines...

I'm not going to bother with the, predictable, US remake. Much as I like Kevin Spacey, this is all about Ian playing FU.
