I had high expectations of this film. It is a coming of age movie which moves very slowly. The main character really doesn't seem to have any ambition, energy or goals in life and allows his bleak life to just happen. I didn't find the movie at all engaging and switched it off two thitds of the way through . . I didn't really care about the character enough to find out what happened next.
