All Creatures Great and Small is a British drama based on the books by veterinary surgeon Alf Wright. The series follows the life of James Herriot (Christopher Timothy), a vet whose life revolves around the calls he gets from his customers and his relationship with other people, especially fellow vet Siegfried Farnon (Robert Hardy) who he has a cordial relationship with but also finds time to butt heads with him at times. The series follows James’ seemingly monotonous village life but finds humour through the many strange cases he is called out on.
