Athens, G.A.: Inside Out (1987)

Documentary focusing on the music scene in Athens, Georgia, in the 1980's. Following different bands with varying musical styles, this film examines the rise of groups such as REM and the B52's and how they illuminated the thriving community they originated from. Live performances from bands including Tractor, REM, the B52's and Pylon are also interspersed throughout the documentary.
