- Based on the classic tale by Jean de Brunhoff, this fully-animated feature is the heart-warming story of a little orphan elephant named Babar who grows up to be King of the Elephants. When Babar's mother is tragically killed, he finds a new life in the city, surrounded by friends who teach him many important lessons. Then, when Babar returns to the jungle, he is crowned king of a happy peaceful city where every day brings a new adventure. Babar's story has all the traditional charm and nostalgia of an enduring classic, but is also guaranteed to delight a new generation of children thanks to its superb animation, gentle humour, catchy music and sound effects.
